Over the weekend we all hit the woods in search of a beast. We hiked miles with the dogs to try to find the trail of the monster that we had an encounter with just days before. We were unsuccessful in finding the beast, however not too far away someone did! Lloyd Rigdon of Moorseville, NC put the smackdown on a Monster North Carolina Wild Boar! The hog was killed on Buckshot Hunt Club’s leased property in Anson County, NC. The scales were broken but they estimate the hog to be well over 300 pounds. He not only did he kill a freak, he just got done cleaning 5 hogs he just trapped. A dream weekend for a lot of hog hunters! Good job Lloyd and let us know when we’re going to have a BBQ with all that pork!
